the development of somebody’s skills and knowledge through one-toone training. Coaching is usually conducted by a more senior and experienced colleague. It involves planned training activities that have measurable outcomes and is designed to facilitate learning by providing guidance and support as well as tutoring. Executive coaching is a form of coaching used with senior managers.
